Nature Tourism is referred as responsible travel to natural areas, which conserves the environment and improves the welfare of the local people. It is Tourism based on the natural attractions of a specific area. Some examples include birdwatching, photography , camping, hiking, hunting, fishing and visiting parks. These experential tourists are interested in a diversity of natural and cultural resources. They want what is real and they want to be immersed in a rich natural, cultural or historical experience. In Azerbaijan, nature tourism places are famous mostly in mountanious regions. Tourists can see them by excursions to Khinalig, Laza villages, trekking in Ilisu mountains with also visiting historical castles, monuments, visiting famous waterfalls name as “7 gozal” in Gabala, “Afurca” in Guba, “Laza” in Qusar. Mud volcanoes are very famous in our country. They are found spattered throughout the world, but astonishingly around 300 of the earth’s estimated 700 mud volcanoes lie in Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea.
